"Anchor for the future" |
The works in the exhibition were created in 2024, being inspired by the observation, introspection and experiences lived by the artist during the period referred to. "The works capture a continuous dialogue between spontaneity and reflection, visible in the visual rhythms and contrasts between fluidity and precision. The personal symbols integrated in the creations offer clues about the concerns and passions that define the artist Ana-Maria Gălețeanu.
Through sequences of lines, points and vibrant touches, the artist creates visual rhythms that convey movement and energy. She predominantly uses watercolor, a technique that allows colors to merge and evolve organically, and interventions with colored pencils add accents of precision and control. Although at first glance the compositions may seem playful, beyond their surface you can see strong emotions and deep reflections" - explains Alexandra Ilnițchi-Ardelean, curator of the exhibition.
